My journey so far
Rapid career progression
I first joined LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare in 2015 after taking a career break to look after my children. My first role was as a homecare nurse but then I got two promotions in the space of just over two years – first to Nursing Services Manager and then to Operations Manager. My current role involves managing the nursing team and clinical service delivery for the whole South region.
No two days the same
The role of Regional Operations Manager is very varied. In the course of the day, I will be managing a range of operational issues while meeting and liaising with our customers as well as with business development managers, nursing services managers, nursing teams and other colleagues. My job is to ensure that all the customers in my region receive the best possible service while also working with partners across the organisation to help our business grow.
I am very proud to be leading and supporting a wonderful team of caring and professional nurses, who are all dedicated to providing the best quality care for our customers and patients. Although the nurses in LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare tend to work independently, we hold regular team meetings throughout the region to make sure we build strong professional relationships and are there to provide support to each other whenever it is needed.
