About the opportunity
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute individual to join McKesson UK as an Assistant Product development manager. You will have the opportunity to develop, launch and maintain approved NPD projects on behalf of customer channels. The role will also involve using customer and market insights to create new commercial and product propositions working closely with customer sales channels.A key element of this role will involve supporting the relationships with McKesson’s current and future suppliers, collaborating with cross functional teams in UK and Global Sourcing teams to adopt an Enterprise first mindset.
As the Assistant Product Development Manager, you will have good commercial awareness and have a background in sourcing or buying, ideally in a fast moving, dynamic marketplace. The ideal candidate will have good client and customer management skills and be able to work independently. They will have strong stakeholder management skills and be able to work collaboratively across the wider team
