Job Share Opportunities with LloydsPharmacy in Scotland!
Our Pharmacists are not just Pharmacists. They’re true healthcare partners. They’re trusted advisers. They’re problem solvers, sympathetic listeners and inspiration givers. And many of them are mothers, fathers, carers and volunteers as well. That’s why we offer Pharmacists the opportunity to job share. It’s a chance for you and others to enjoy real work-life balance and be everything you want to be in both your professional and personal life.
About the opportunity
LloydsPharmacy is a community pharmacy network with over 1,500 stores nationwide. The size and scale of our business is brought to life through our partnership with McKesson – a Fortune Global 500 company and leading provider of integrated healthcare solutions. This puts us in a unique position to provide our people with some amazing benefits such as the introduction of our job share opportunity.
Job sharing gives you and your job share partner much greater flexibility at work, as you choose how to share out your hours between you. For example, one of you may opt to do Monday, Tuesday and the first half of Wednesday while the other does the second half, Thursday and Friday.
Taking shared ownership of the Pharmacist role, you and your partner will become trusted advisers to the NHS as you both deliver a highly efficient end-to-end healthcare service that transforms lives. You will also become pillars of your community, helping to deliver local services and projects, like the National Diabetes Prevention Programme, that are completely unique to us.
So, if you’ve got a friend you want to job share with then send their details over to us along with your application. If you are both successful in joining our family, you’ll receive a £100 dinner voucher to celebrate your new job.
Don’t know anyone who wants to job share? No problem. Just let us know when you’re available and how far you’re willing to travel, and we’ll try to find you a suitable match.
Customers and communities are at the heart of everything we do. So, first and foremost, you’ll be the kind of person who loves to provide exceptional patient consultations – approachable and an exceptional listener. You must have an MPharm degree or equivalent and be registered with the GPhC by your start date. On top of that, to keep up with the evolving landscape, we’re looking for someone who’s eager to share their expertise to inspire teams, drive a learning culture and improve your pharmacy. In return, you’ll have access to a range of career paths, plenty of job flexibility and training opportunities you’d expect from an industry leader.
Part of McKesson, a leading healthcare company, we strive to break boundaries, challenge the status quo and support the changing healthcare industry. We are committed to offering the best advice and healthcare to our patients, customers and colleagues. As one of our Pharmacists, you will be able to use your passion, ambition and drive to build solutions and have experiences that positively transform the lives of our patients.
